Andy is Man of the Match vs Kidderminster

In our latest Man of the Match vote of the season which related to last Monday's gutting and extremely harsh 2-2 home draw against Kidderminster Harriers, it was Andy Mangan who was voted as your Man of the Match for the game.....  

After a full week of voting following Tranmere's extremely disappointing 2-2 home draw with Kidderminster Harriers last Monday afternoon, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for Tranmere's good performance and undeserved result, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was Andy Managan.

Rovers took a quick 2-0 lead in the game with goals from Liam Hogan and a great goal by Andy Mangan in the space of six minutes midway through the opening period but the visitors earned an arguably undeserved 2-2 draw with two goals in the final six minutes of the game to rob Rovers of a deserved three points.

As you can see below, the poll saw a total of just 17 votes cast during the full length voting period this time around as fans seemed to abstain from voting after conceding the two late goals.  As a result the vote was pretty one-sided with Andy Mangan taking the award with over half of the total votes. getting 53% of the votes (9 votes).

Liam Ridehalgh and the Man of the Match winner from the other Bank Holiday weekend game away at Altrincham two days earlier, Adam Mekki, came joint second with 18% of the vote each (3 votes each) whilst the only other two starters in the game to earn any votes were goalscorer Liam Hogan and captain Steven Jennings with 6% of the vote each (1 vote).
