Following Friday evening's come from behind televised 1-1 draw away at Grimsby Town, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.

Tranmere started the game relatively well but it was the home side who undeservedly took the lead in the 9th minute against the run of play when the Rovers defence and in particular Scott Davies stood and watched the ball strike a post before being poked into the goal to the delight of the home supporters.

Grimsby began to get a grip on the game after taking the lead but Rovers had a good chance through Jackson whose header was brilliantly saved by McKeown in the Mariners goal.  As they had done at Southport a few days earlier, Rovers began the second half well and deservedly equalised when a superb through ball found Blissett through on goal and he poked it past the goalkeeper.

After equalising, Rovers were on top for a while but it was the home side who by the end looked they might snatch a winner.  Many at the game though including the Grimsby Town Manager agreed that a draw was a fair result in the end.
