Rovers Defender Ihiekwe Gets England C Call-Up

Tranmere defender Michael Ihiekwe called up to England C Training Camp.....

Prior to last nights 1-1 draw for Rovers away at Grimsby Town, it was confirmed that defender Michael Ihiekwe has received a call up for the England C training camp at the end of September.
Paul Fairclough who is Manager of the Non-League represented England side, has selected Ihiekwe amongst 20 other non-league players for the camp which takes place at Warwick University over three days from 27th to the 29th September.
In the past, England C has had a number of players who have gone on to have success at the highest level in the Premier League and with the England's first team including Jamie Vardy and Charlie Austin.

I'm not sure who they will play but the sort of clubs they could face include Wales semi-pro, Tibet, Greenland, Gotland, Zanzibar, Padania, Occitania, Basque, Isle of Man and Catalonia.
