Harris and Norwood Share Southport Man of the Match

  In our latest Man of the Match vote of the season which related to last Tuesday night’s 2-2 away derby draw at Southport, there was no single clear winner as both Jay Harris and James Norwood were voted as your Man of the Match for the game.....    

After a full week of voting following Tranmere's 2-2 away derby draw against Southport last Tuesday night, we can now reveal that the Men of the Match for Tranmere's performance, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, were both James Norwood and Jay Harris.

After his wonder goal a few days earlier that already scooped him the Man of the Match award for the home game against Chester, Norwood was again on the score sheet at Southport as was the player he tied this award with Jay Harris.

Their goals ensured that Rovers came back from 2-0 down at half-time to earn a vital point and deny Southport any bragging rights from the game.

As you can see below, the poll saw a total of 17 votes cast during the full length voting period this time around.  Goal scorers Norwood and Harris both polled 35% of the vote each (6 votes each) with Liam Hogan in second place with 12% of the vote (2 votes).

The only other players to receive any votes from the game were Adam Dawson, Steven Jennings and substitute Marlon Jackson who all polled 6% of the vote each (1 vote each).
