Look ...no need to panic...we have just won at Cheltenham who hadn't dropped a point at home and put 4 past Bromley who had won there last 6... The manager is confident , the players are confident and I am confident that we will win .. I am going for 0-2...

I would take a draw. Wrexham's defence looks vulnerable and this could be one of those games were attack is the best form of defence could be true. My quess, however is that Brabin will set up to contain. Against the better teams I can see the logic of that but it may suit Wrexham

0-0 at half time, 2-0 to us at the end.

possibility we could be top of the table by the end of the evening. saying that, i am going for a 1-1 stalemate.

Predicted a loss, but hopeful for a draw at least. I think Brabin will set up as at Cheltenham. Any sort of result and we can come away happy, particularly with our record against the likely challengers so far.

I don't want to be seen to be scaremongering but I've just been in Wrexham and driven home (then heading Back there again soon for the match - don't ask!).

The weather is atrocious here I've driven through flash floods and huge puddles on my short drive home from Wrexham. Let's hope the game is on.

Very confident of a win.

Don't care how many by, just get the 3 points. Then, barring Cheltenham & Forest Green wins, we go top grinning smiley

Sub, do the Wrexham grounds staff have access to any animals to help with drainage? just wondering like. Must hold a fair bit of water in them woolly coats.... (Sm163)

Same team as Saturday with Norwood and Jennings on the bench. I have wanted to see Harris and Maynard in the middle for a while so 2 games running should be interesting after scoring four on Saturday

Noooo, not there didn't like the substitutions have they led to the equaliser or were we under the cosh?

Been home a while (as you'd expect!) so time to ponder over the game a little.

For what it's worth I thought defensively Wrexham were awful tonight - their Keeper in particular was terrible but if they fail to make the play-offs that will be a huge factor.

Their Number 4 and the guy alongside him looked shaky all game but towards the end it was our defence that looked all over the place - just desperate to get it clear and a lot of the time failing.

The subs were the right ones I felt but t didn't work. Margetts had a terrible game and I half suspected to see Norwood at half time to be honest.

Would have taken a point an I think you'll find I predicted 2-2 both on here and on the Prediction League! 3 More valuable points for me!

It is a good point, always a bit sour when you are in front with only a few minutes to go. Cheltenham top, have they been under estimated I wonder???

Think jenno coming on and taking the armband from hill seemed to be the turning point. Would of took a point anyway though.

Is it me or in the last 2/3 games has most attacking play been aimed towards Hill, has he been pin pointed as a weakness by others?

Brabins substitution was the turning point - he went 4 5 1 with Norwood on the right wing.

It didn't work and just invited the pressure on so the goal was inevitable in the end.

I can understand trying to kill the game off with 10 - 15 mins to go but not 25 mins.

Norwood isn't interested in working hard on the wing for 20 mins - he's a goal poacher who should be up top.

Jackson if anyone should have been the change as he has the pace and could have provided an outlet to relieve the pressure or get a goal on the break to kill the game.

Will take a point but unfortunately that tactical contributed to us losing 2 points when I think we should have won that game easily after we went 2 - 1 up.

As I said above I felt the right subs were made but as you say the tactics used to put them into practice just didn't work.

Spot on!
Margetts lacked the spark and dynamism of Mangan.
Jenno looks half the time as if he feels he's above playing in this league.
Until the substitutions I thought we had good balance and everyone knew their jobs.
Then the substitutions came and we lost our shape and paniced like the Kidderminster game.

I agree Half Man,it was like Kidderminster all over again. With only 1 forward to mark they were able to deploy more players to attack us and we panicked.Up until the substitutions we were doing OK...if something is not broken then don't fix it!

Totally agree

At least the unbeaten run continues, and lets hope for more with 2 home games in a row

just seen last nights goals on you tube and other clips of fans in the ground and outside the ground with a police helicopter hovering above. interesting thing ive just viewed on the bbc footy website, all the Braintree players went and shook all 30 of the Braintree supporters hands that made the journey to Cheltenham last night.

Would have taken a draw before the game , and only having lost two games up to now is good going considering the last few seasons.

Just noticed FG Rovers got back to winning ways tonight and are 5 points clear again at the top. I wonder if we will rue not hanging onto the three points come April?

We have to play them twice ..so no need to panic..!!! So long as we win them..!!

A decent point, but the equaliser still feels like a bit of a kicker.

The two dropped points are not the thing that has affected Tranmere's push a little, I feel; it's the thrown away 2-0 at Kidderminster, followed the drawn Welling match with the cheat in it that Tranmere were winning that have done that.

Tranmere would have been top last night for nearly 24 hours with those 4 points and 1 point off top now.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

The ref let every challenge from behind go. I was sat next to the halfway line and had a good view. Their centre backs push our players in the back and then jumped on there back every time. It was a hard game for the forward s to play in and I can understand why they ran out of steam near the end. With out them we would have got more goals.

I arrived for the Wrexham game on one of the coaches at about 6.15. It was quiet so me and my lad along with a few of his mates headed in to the town centre to find a McDonalds. As we headed past the train station there were a load of police vans all parked up but again all very low key.

Having dined at the aforementioned restaurant we entered on to the main street to suddenly appear on what looked like the film set of Black Hawk Down. There were battalions of police, helicoptors with search lights and several police with video cameras filming as we walked back towards the ground only to be stopped by a wall of police who were halting everyone (all Wrexham fans apart from us) from progressing any further.

One Wrexham fan pointed into the sky saying, "Look you...What is that iron bird with a torch in its ar5e?" (False)

When asked the Heddlu (Welsh for police!) replied, "We're keeping everyone back until the train from Bidston arrives!" (True)
