In our latest Man of the Match vote of the season which related to last Tuesday nights 2-2 derby draw away at Wrexham, we can reveal that former Wrexham player Jay Harris was the clear winner by a landslide.....

After a full week of voting following Tranmere's 2-2 derby draw away at Wrexham last Tuesday night, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for Tranmere's performance, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was perhaps unsurprisingly Tranmere's former Wrexham midfielder Jay Harris who won the poll by a landslide.
After the visitors had taken the lead around 18 minutes into the game through Robbie Evans, Rovers took very little time to respond as Lois Maynard netted from a corner after some poor goalkeeping from Belford in the Wrexham goal.
Tranmere deservedly took the lead shortly after half-time through another former Wrexham player Andy Mangan but the home side worked their way back into the game and deservedly earned a 2-2 draw when Quigley scored with just eight minutes remaining.
As you can see from the poll below, Harris polled a massive 65% of the 17 votes cast (11 votes) to easily take first place whilst his nearest challengers for the award, goalscorers Lois Maynard and Andy Mangan, each polled 12% of the vote (2 votes).
Only two other players polled any votes in the poll and as you can see below they were goalkeeper Scott Davies and defender Martin Riley who both polled 6% of the vote (1 vote each).
Thanks to everyone who voted in the Man of the Match poll and don't forget that you will are still able to vote for your Man of the Match for Saturday afternoon's 2-1 home defeat to Eastleigh on THIS LINK whilst the poll for tomorrow's match at home to Barrow will be available later on Tuesday evening after the match so stay tuned to Total Tranmere.
