Following yesterday afternoon's 1-0 defeat away at Lincoln City, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.
Despite being the better side and creating the best chances throughout the frst half, Rovers switched off at a late Lincoln corner kick and allowed former Rovers defender Luke Waterfall to score with a free header to give the hosts a totally undeserved 1-0 lead at the break.
Rovers came out well for the first ten minutes of the second half and had three great chances to level the game in that opening spell but couldn't convert any of the chances created and the game soon began to fizzle out as the home side seemed happy to time waste with some 35 minutes still to go on the scoreboard and Rovers stopped creating as many clear cut chances.
