Your chance to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from this afternoon's 1-0 home win over Altrincham in the National League.....

Following this afternoon's 1-0 home win over Altrincham, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.

A dominant first half for Rovers unfortunately only produced the one goal from James Norwood but should have seen Rovers out of sight by the break. As it  was the visitors had a better second half as Rovers held on to a vital perhaps just about deserved three points.

The win moved Tranmere up to eighth place in the National League and they are now just five points away from the all important play-off places as we enter a new calendar year!

To vote for your Man of the Match from the game simply vote on the poll on THIS LINK

McNulty had his best game for us yet, had it not been for him Scott Davies would of had my vote.

If yesterday's match would of been on TV, they'd of been replaying his point blank stop at the Kop end over & over

McNulty for me as well.

Him and Ihiekwe where solid yesterday. Mekki did well first half but started fading before he went off so could have been fatigue

Davies and Norwood obviously deserve praise as well

He may miss a few chances but Norwood is on fire at the moment and just runs all game. Fans still giving him grief on twitter though (which is very sad)

I was chuffed about yesterday. I have said all season that to win games in this league you will need to win ugly 75% of the time. And thats what we did

Cant wait for Macclesfield on saturday

Norwood for me. If only he could finish. His play is almost perfect up until the point that he sees the whites of the keeper's eyes.

McNulty, Ihiekwe and Davies also had good games. The number of crosses they had to deal with was ridiculous!
