Hill Extends Rovers Stay

Rovers defender Matt Hill has extended his Rovers contract until the end of the 2015/16 season.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tranmere have this morning confirmed that left-back Matt Hill has extended his contract with the Club until the end of the current 2015/16 season.

The 34 year-old was originally signed for Rovers by then Manager Rob Edwards in the summer of 2014 but a serious Achilles injury early on in the campaign kept him out of action for the rest of Rovers relegation tha season out of the Football League.

Making a return to fitness last summer, Hill was offered a six month deal with the Club which has today been extended for the remainder of this season after Hill has made 27 appearances for Rovers this season and scored one goal which is surely a contender for goal of the season, in the 4-1 win away at Gateshead!

Had a stinker today.Slow, put team mates under pressure,can't tackle...obvious other teams are targetting him as a weakness,I would have let him go.
