Post-Match Views: "We Felt We Deserved Something"

Gary Brabin felt his Rovers side were hard done by in the 1-0 home defeat to Macclesfield this afternoon.....
Following this afternoon's 1-0 defeat at home to Macclesfield, Tranmere Manager Gary Brabin felt his side deserved something from the game and were unlucky to come away without any points.
A goal from Jack Sampson just after the half hour mark was enough to earn the visitors the three points despite Tranmere's dominance and the denial of a couple of penalties and a baffling disallowed goal in injury time.
Speaking to the Tranmere Player earlier this evening, Brabin said...
"We didn't deserve to get beat. They had two shots on target, one from 30 yards and then the goal. We dominated possession, created lots of chances and scored what looked to be a perfectly good goal but unfortunately we got nothing from the game."
"We were hoping to build on those previous good results but it wasn't to be. It would have been nice to build on the back-to-back wins and we felt we deserved something from the game. We're creating lots of chances and when you're creating chances, you always feel that the goals will come."
Speaking about his new loan signing Jeff Hughes who started for Rovers this afternoon, Brabin added...
"Jeff is a good player. He's a left footer, which we don't have too many of at the Club, so he gives us good balance. I think he'll be a real asset for us."

Utter nonsense apart from the bit about Hughes.

Someone needs to tell him that you get everything you deserve in football. The score sheet doesn't lie and The table doesn't lie.

Said the same in another thread bigmart. Some posters just want to fan bash. Points don't lie, results that count. Poor poor response from GB again

Never mind the "posters" blaming fans, Cobblepot himself was at it in the Echo after Wrexham. It's all our fault we if we relaxed more he'd make better decisions and have some tactics!
