Tranmere confirm that the home game against Southport has been moved to a new date….
Tranmere have confirmed yesterday that their upcoming home National League game against near neighbours Southport has been switched from Tuesday 9th February to Saturday 6th February with a 3.00pm kick off.
Originally scheduled as an away to trip to face Guiseley, the Yorkshire side’s success in the second round of the FA Trophy last Saturday means that they will be in third round action on 6th February.

Southport will now face Rovers at Prenton Park on Saturday 6th February
However with Southport already out of the competition themselves and with their scheduled League opposition for that day Dover Athletic still being in the Trophy, the decision has been made to move the Rovers vs Southport game to the Saturday afternoon.
The switch has been approved by both Clubs and by the National League and will prevent Rovers fans from yet another Rovers-free weekend following last weekend’s lack of action again thanks to the FA Trophy.
As yet there has been no rearranged date given for the Guiseley away game but we will bring you this information once it has been made available.
