McNulty The Winner in Aldershot Man of the Match Poll

The votes have been counted and we can now confirm that you have once again voted defender Steve McNulty as your Tranmere the Man of the Match for last Saturday's 0-0 draw away at Aldershot Town.....

After three days of voting we can confirm that defender Steve McNulty has once again been voted as your Man of the Match for the 0-0 away draw at Aldershot Town on Saturday after 72 hours of voting.

Against an Aldershot side who had won their previous three matches going into Saturday's encounter, the Rovers defence of which McNulty was again a huge part, kept a second consectuive clean sheet as Rovers remained in fourth place in the National League in a stalemate game.

As you can see from the poll results below, the win for McNulty was slightly less clear cut than his award for the home win over Southport the week before as he polled 26% of the vote (5 votes) to win by a margin of just 4% from Lee Vaughan and Jay Harris who came in joint second with 21% of the vote each (4 votes each).

The only other players to score any votes this week were Michael Ihiekwe, Liam Ridehalgh and Jack Mackreth who all polled 11% of the vote each (2 votes each) with the rest failing to score any votes.
