Following yesterday afternoon's 1-0 home defeat to leaders Cheltenham Town, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.

Rovers produced a disappointing and slow start in the game and paid the price when Cheltenham scored what proved to be the winning goal after just three minutes of the game through Danny Wright.

Around the fifteen minute mark though Rovers seemed to wake up and went on to perform relatively well and almost certainly deserved to come out of the game with a draw (although nothing more than that).

Decent chances fell to Lois Maynard in particular but also to James Norwood and Adam Mekki but Rovers couldn't find the much needed breakthrough to get back into the game.

Rovers still remain in fourth place in the National League with the gap behind them now a little closer than previously ahead a huge derby game away at Chester next Sunday.
