Your chance to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from yesterday afternoon's 0-0 draw away at Dover in in the National League.....

Following yesterday afternoon's 0-0 draw away at Dover Athletic in the National League, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.
Tranmere failed to get going in the first half of the game, dominating possession throughout the opening 45 minutes but with the home side having all the good chances in the opening period,
Rovers defended well though and the game was 0-0 at the break despite a terrible display from the match officials, particularly the assistant on the left hand side of the away end terrace.
Rovers were much improved in the second half and the longer the game went on the more likely it looked that it would be visitors who got the winner in the game. However, despite six minutes of added time, thanks in part to the replacement of the referee during the second half due to injury, Rovers couldn't make the breakthrough.
The important outcome of the match was that Rovers didn't lose againt a play-off chasing rival have still only lost once on their last ten games in the National League and have only lost twice in 2016!
To vote for your Man of the Match from the game simply vote on the poll on THIS LINK whilst the results will be published here in the next 48 hours.

He made one backpass mistake which he quickly and impressively recovered from to get the ball out for a corner but aside from that I thought he was faultless!
His saves late in the game gave us a result!
It's Dover for Christ sake, they have and average gate of about 800, that's about £300k a season, we get about £1.5m a year though the doors.
This thread should have the following sort of comments:
"I'm going for Norwood after his 4 goals"
"Kirby for me, that full back was crying when he got subbed"
"Higdon for me, that volley from 30 yards was superb"

Dover who also have financial backing despite their low attendances though.
Not much in the grand scheme of things. The owner puts in about £250k a year. So they still have a third of our budget
Quote:Should'nt the last on be "Higdon for me because he managed to run for 30 yards".mini_andy
I was't there, but seeing you guys give the man of the match to either defenders, goalkeepers or a defensive midfielder is depressive.
