The post-match reactions from yesterday's 0-0 away draw at Dover from Rovers Manager Gary Brabin and midfielder Steven Jennings courtesy of Tranmere Rovers Official on You Tube.............

Following yesterday's 0-0 draw away at fellow play-off chasers Dover Athletic, Manager Gary Brabin was pleased with the clean sheet kept by his side in the draw which saw Rovers move up to fourth place in the National League.

Gary Brabin told the Media after the game.....

"It was nice to get a clean sheet, and I thought the longer the game went on that we were going to get a winner, but it's not a bad point away from home.  I thought we played some good stuff and we had a couple of good chances as the game went on, but unfortunately we couldn't get those three points."

"Michael Higdon was struggling in the warm up, he had a knock which he was feeling a little bit.  It was too late to change the teamsheet so we started with it.  We made the change and we looked a lot livelier in the second half.

"Jay Harris has been itching to play and it was good to get him on.  It's nice to see good players on the bench chomping at the bit to get on and make a difference."

Rovers' captain Steven Jennings added to the thoughts of his Manager after the game saying....

"I thought we all struggled in the first half.  We couldn't get the ball into the space and they put us under pressure but we hung on in there.  They didn't have too many clear cut chances in that first half, so we knew we could get better in the second half and play our own game."

"Jay (Harris) had bags of energy when he came on.  He's been unlucky not to play although we had a couple of good results without him in the side.  He certainly got stuck in and won his fair share of tackles and got us up the field.  He won us a few free kicks in good positions so it was nice to get him back."

"In the last 15 minutes it was end to end and we had a few chances, a few headers that went wide and the 'keeper has made a couple of good saves.  It's a point in the right direction, obviously we would have liked three but it wasn't to be."
