Going for a 2-1 win!

going for a cheeky 1-0 win to the Superwhites

According to the Kidderminster website, Jennings is definitely out (calf injury) ... not sure how true this is. Their leading goalscorer, Gnahoua, is also injured. We should win this one comfortably, 3-0.

Tranmere 2-0 win get us back in the play offs SWA.

Like to think it will be comfortable today but they are fighting for NL survival so think they'll be up for it . Hope we'll have a bit more quality so going for a hard earned 2-1 win for Superwhites .

Just a win! If we're going to have any chance we need nine points from these next three games

Mekki is also apparently out after getting injured at the end of Friday's game.

ive got live commentary on bbc radio Hereford/Worcester. sounds like norwood could have had a hat trick. commentator said about 1000 rovers fans there. dover 2 down at half time and Braintree drawing, good so far.

Come on Rovers let's keep pushing. All other results are going in our favor. But it's a game of two half's.....

Well done more points away again .if only we could have had a decent Nov/Dec we would be well in ,now trouble is we have 3 really tough home games I am never comfortable at home. by match report missed a load of chances again today. but a win is a win we have to win all our remaining games to stand a chance. well done away support about 800 I believe

Great game, could of easily been 5-0. I would like to be Dover, Braintree or Grimsby playing 7 games in April. This could be a massive advantage. Roll on Saturday!

I seen why f@nny was removed it's fane. It made me laugh all the way through the match. Great win SWA

Taking 800 to Kidderminster is brilliant.

We have hung in and the remaining fixtures of Dover and Braintree are not easy,especially those of the latter.Come to that Grimsby have a tough run.Four wins and a draw at Eastleigh could see us to the play offs and even to third. The Achilles heel is winning home games and that partly explains the exasperation felt by many supporters.The whole season would feel so much better if we could finish with 3 successive home wins.

Just watching Wrexham v Cheltenham Wrexham better team they are a strong side have a young forward they got from a lower league side called Jackson no14 areal handful it's going to be a real tester for us at home

also watching it. quite an entertaining game so far. agree about jackson. a point not good enough for wrexham they really need the win. cheltenhams goal a truly wonderful free kick right in the top corner.

I saw the last 25-30 minutes and thought Cheltenham fully deserved to win. Wrexham were awful. Talk about a kick in the teeth for Cheltenham!

A good result, but I'm still a little concerned about goal scoring. I feel Norwood had enough chances in the first half to score a second and ease pressure and if you include his late one, the late one against Woking and the penalties Tranmere's top scorers has 12 goals and a few assists and admittedly the 5 or 6 highest scorers have probably had a penalty and a late one or two, but if you factor those out, they would still be 5-7 goals better than him.

He needs a more all round game somehow. He could potentially learn a thing of two of Taylor-Fletcher and possibly players with higher level experience like Higdon.

He certainly earned his crust today and other results going favourably made things better for Tranmere, but I feel concerned that the team as a whole could be a good 5-6 points better off right now, if they'd stepped up on the goal scoring since January.

A good result though none the less in light of other teams screwing up and if Tranmere make the playoffs they will deserve it.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

A good performance I thought , we are still well in with a good chance. And that faracas with the opposing fans was absolutely haliirous I'm sure they will be enjoying their night in the cells.

To be honest an ok performance against a very poor Kiddy team, GTF was clever in the first half, Norwood busy, but not enough creativity coming from the middle of crosses from the wings, Hughes is better through the middle and Kirby did nothing, thought Mackreth threatened more in the 6 minutes he was on, one good chance that probually came to early for him and the game tempo increased as he threatened down the left. Back four looked solid, don't remember our keeper having a lot to do. For once the results went our way.

It was a tough game. Never going to be easy against a team fighting to stay in the league. However we won with two Norwood goals from open play. We just have to keep winning and hope for the best.

this is now the time of the season where mr brabin has to get the lads in the right frame of mind, calm, relaxed and focused for everyone of our 5 remaining games. crunch time now. CMON THE ROVERS! we can do it.

Perhaps are luck is changing ,good win but by pure good luck Kidderminster lost at least 5 players to injury and some sort of bug that hit the club it could have been a lot tougher otherwise all we need now is the other clubs we play get the same 😄😄. There was nothing lucky about that win whatsoever.

All teams lose players to injury as we have all season but it just happens that we currently have a pretty much fully fit squad to utilise.

I don't think it is our luck that changing but more the way we -play. Whether the fans like GB or not, he has found a formula whereby we can get results by being rock solid at the back, industrious in midfield at score goals sufficient to win matches. It would be great to be scoring 4 or 5 a match but the important thing is to keep winning and keep faith with our manager. He knows what he is doing.

Being rock solid at the back is a key to most successful sides but then,usually so is winning consistently at home.If there is an emerging and effective system then we should see wins against Wrexham and Grimsby.
One of the reasons we have been playing catch up is that we could not win at home against,Cheltenham,ForestGreen,Braintree,Dover,and Eastleigh.
It is great that we have hung but I feel that polarised views that all is going well and that all is going badly miss the fact that we are a work in progress and there are issues like our lack of strike power and brittle home results have not been really sorted throughout the season.The Wrexham and Grimsby games will provide evidence about whether the home issue is resolved

His penalty taking has been fantastic, many of them nerve racking match winners, in the latter stages of games. I don't think he's missed one. His goal against Woking was one of the best I've seen a Tranmere player score. Not really fair to James to factor these goals out. Judging by his work rate and attitude, I'm guessing he is the type to work on his weaknesses. Well done to GB for signing him.

Didn't go the match but seen the goals on you tube, two great goals, how anyone can criticise him this season is beyond belief, the lad has 17 odd league goals in a team that has struggled to score playing up front on his own with limited service spending most games chasing lost causes, and had injuries he is player of the year for me closely followed by McNulty and Davies. The league table is basically a case of Cheltenham, FG, Grimsby, Norwood. The reason he misses sitters is the same reason Malkin used to do so, he runs that much he ends up knackered on the end of balls no one else got near.

Totally agree.Some of his critics do so from the armchair and never go near the live game yet think they are experts.

I remember him, used to sit in the Bebbington end of the main stand. Sounded like he gargled bleach before shouting it. He was a regular fixture about 20 odd years ago

I don't know but I rember him shouting it all the time.

You're right, but he has had some comment before about how he could have been scoring more and if people had been taking the penalties not hm we'd be talk a 12 goal player, so for me still a question mark or two. I like the guy and he can score great goals and is the arguably the best player in the team, but I still feel he could develop a bit more of an all round game, because if he finishes the season with 20, I still believe he could have had close to 25 and in fairness to him he's criticised his own striking this season.

My son found it amusing listening to the polarised views at the game yesterday; wait until he's unoccupied enough to access this forum! Aside from this he thoroughly enjoyed his first away game (in the away end) and thankfully is getting the bug. Great day out, nice environment and good win. Amusing listening to the local radio station on the return journey with one of their players being interviewed and stating that we got into the referees head and also stopped them taking free kicks! Anyone who was there will see the irony of this statement! They also bemoaned our spending power as the main factor in us doing well. There was also the implication that the main difference was that they didn't have a player of the calibre of Norwood to put away chances. They did comment positively on the numbers who travelled to support Tranmere and also about our home gates. Always interesting to get a different perspective on things.

The Police were bang out of order on Monday for me. The Stewards had defused the situation just fine until the Police waded in and flared it up again.

Totally agree. It was handbags at ten paces and seemed pretty harmless and would have fizzled out naturally until the "peacekeepers" managed to escalate it in to something more serious. Difficult controlling a rowdy crowd of two I guess! Mildly entertaining whilst it lasted but hope they don't get the book thrown at them.
