Following Saturday's disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Crawley Town on Saturday afternoon, it's straight back to action for Tranmere on Tuesday evening as they look to continue their good recent away form with a trip to Southend United.

Southend currently find themselves second from bottom in the League Two table with only Grimsby Town between them and the basement of the Division but in spite of this Rovers will surely face a tough game.

Rovers will also of course be without top scorer James Vaughan for a considerable period after the post-match on Saturday they he requires surgery on a knee injury picked up in the recent game against Leyton Orient.

Kick-Off on Tuesday evening is at 7:00pm.
