Now on the back of two consecutive wins in League Two, it's a big game for Rovers on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Forest Green Rovers who are also looking ot secure a play-off place.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With just two matches remaining in Leeague Two, it's a difficult trip to Forest Green up next for Tranmere on Saturday afternoon with the outside chance of an automatic promotion place still on the cards.  For this to become a reality, Rovers would really need to win their remaining two matches and hope that other results go their way. 

However the top end of League Two is so close that despite still being in with a mathematical chance of automatic promotion, Rovers are still not yet even guaranteed a place in the Top 7 and therefore the play-offs.  To ensure a play-off place, Rovers will simply need to avoid defeat to Forest Green who are one of the two Teams that can still catch them.

Tranmere have of course won their last two games 1-0 and in the last six games since the heavy 4-0 defeat at recently promoted Chelentham Town, Rovers have only conceded two goals in total.

Forest Green have only won one game in their last six and have slipped from automatic promotion candidates themselves to currently finding themselves outside the play-off places.
