Dagnall - I Won't Be Forgotten

Tranmere's most promising youngster, Chris Dagnall has pledged to battle hard for his place in the team. Rovers striker has promised he will be back firing in the goals, after an impressive reserve appearance.

Tranmere Rovers striker, Chris Dagnall, last night played and scored in the reserves loss against Hartlepool United. The promising youngster has vowed that he will be back in the first team and scoring the goals to help Rovers' promotion chances.

Dagnall made three starts after returning from a fractured cheekbone, but has sat out the last two league matches because of flu.

But depsite the lack of games since his injury comeback, Rovers boss, Brian Little, remians optimistic and praised the player saying :

"That goal will have done him good. Chris was thrown straight back into the first team after injury because we have not had a lot of reserve games recently. Then he had the flu.

"Chris looked very sharp yesterday and I was pleased for him to get his goal. He also scored another which was disallowed."

Dagnall now his eyes set on playing against League One strugglers, Wrexham at the Racecourse.
