Will Rovers Make A Swoop For Unwanted Star?

Time after time have Tranmer been linked with strikers, and here comes another to be added on to that ever-growing list. Rovers have been linked with Derby's Marcus Tudgay, Manchester City's Robbie Fowler and again its a striker from Merseyside.

According to rumours, Tranmere have once again been linked with a scouse striker, but this time its not Robbie Fowler, so who could this person be, and once again what will his reasons be to come here.

1. Cash -Well first of all, its rumoured he will come for a cash sum of £1 million, so this always helps to make your mind up.

2. Regular football - a huge factor in deciding who to play for.

3. Up and coming stars - Tranmere have alot of youngsters who could be in a good Championship side, and the player himself is only young, so the future looks bright.

4. Championship football - he's only coming if we get promoted, and hes not getting in his current side at the momnet so Championship football is the next best thing.

5. Number - although its only a minor, sometimes having a squad number helps aswell. Already 9 is vacant and looks like 10 will be aswell. This could also help.

Finally, the player himself who is he. One last clue, used to play for Everton and was born and bread in neighbouring Liverpool.
