Ryan Taylor Makes Team of the Season

On the Weekend that Rovers were confirmed a play-off place for the end of the season, the club's young defender Ryan Taylor has also been named in the PFA League One Team of the Season. The team is voted for by the professional footballers themselves and recognises the seasons high achievers.

Many Tranmere fans, myself included have complained many times, particularly this season, that Rovers to do not get enough recognition in such things as the Team of the Week but Ryan Taylor has been rewarded for his consistently good displays for Rovers this season by being named amongst the eleven best players in League One this season.

It has often been said, particularly amongst Rovers fans that there is no better right-back in League One than Ryan Taylor and last nights announcement of the Division's Team of the Season looks to confirm that theory.

The team consists of no less than six players from League Champions Luton Town as well as the Division's Top Scorer; Hull City's Stuart Elliott.
