Hall Heading For Bristol Or Brentford?

Lots of players are rumoured with us, but what about away from us. The Ryan Taylor affair is now infamous as we all know, but who else is rumoured to leave? We still ahve plenty of players out of contract, and it seems msot of them have been released, so is another set for the exit?

Due to the fact that it's close season, the rumours have flown by and round again, but this time one grasped my attention.

It concerns our tricky little Jamaican winger, Paul Hall, who is out of contract. I would definitely want to sign him as he played with class and socred 12 very good goals, and also he has creativity theat Tranmere currently lack.

But of course he has attracted interest from other clubs, who look to sign him. It was originally thought that his former club Walsall, had offered him twice as much as Rovers, but it now seems that Paul Hall has failed to agree a new deal with Tranmere altogether.

So another two clubs have popped into the equation, both Brentford and Bristol City are thought to be after the player's signature. If Paul was to leave the club it would look more likely to be going to one of these clubs, who are pushing for promotion.

Paul Hall signed for Rovers from Rushden and Diamonds near the end of the 2003-04 season and has impressed ever since. Rovers still have some other contract issues to sort out, with fellow Jamaican Theo Whitmore still undecided on what to do and Mark Rankine is unknown is he has been offered a contract or not.

Talk about this on the Total Tranmere Message Board.
