Rovers make the long trip to Huish Park this Saturday to face League One strugglers Yeovil Town (Kick-Off 3.00pm) and they will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2-1 defeat at home to Walsall last Friday that saw them slip back to within six points of the dreaded relegation zone.
Prior to that defeat, Rovers had recorded two successive wins that had seem them sit a little more comfortably in the League Table but after defeat to the Saddlers they have much work to do again before they are safe.
Away from home the Whites have been in reasonable form of late with a 1-0 defeat at Oldham a month ago being their only loss of 2006 on their travels and their first since the 1-0 defeat at Blackpool in early December. In their last six games home and away, Rovers have won just twice when they recorded back-to-back wins over Swindon and Chesterfield prior to the Walsall defeat.
Yeovil have failed to win at home in their last five matches and are even closer to the relegation zone than Rovers prior to this game. They have won twice in their last six games home and away with the latest success being a 2-0 win away at Walsall on Tuesday night thanks to first half goals from Harold and Davies.
There has only been one previous League meeting between the two sides which game earlier in the season when the two sides met at Prenton Park as Rovers triumphed 4-1. After going behind to a Phil Jevons penalty on the half hour, Rovers hit back with a second-half hat-trick from Chris Greenacre and a goal from Calvin Zola.

Tranmere Rovers: New goalkeeper Matt Murray is expected to go straight into the starting line-up for the visit to Yeovil after signing on loan from Wolves until the end of the season.
Rovers only absentee is John Achterberg who still injured but Delroy Facey and Steven Jennings have both recovered from knocks they picked up in the 2-1 home defeat to Walsall last week and should both be available.
