Poll Result: Fans Wanted Little to Prove Himself

In our latest web poll, we asked Total Tranmere readers for their views on Brian Little following a poor season for Rovers that saw them just avoid relegation to League Two with one game to spare. Given recent reaction and comment on our Message Board, the result was something of a surprise………..

 

Last week we asked Total Tranmere readers what their views on Brian Little were in the form of our latest poll and the results were something of a surprise given the recent reactions to what has been a disappointing season for Rovers.

Should Be Sacked A.S.A.P 24% Give Him Till The End of The Season 21% Let Him Prove Himself Next Season 33% Full Backing 15% Man To Take Us Places 6% Number of votes: 84

 

So out of 84 votes cast, 33% of you were prepared to give Brian Little a chance prove himself next season and put the season just ended down as a not to be repeated blip.

 

As we now know of course, the Board of the Club clearly didn’t agree with the 33% and decided to discuss Brian’s future with him, ending with him leaving the Club by mutual consent on Friday morning , no doubt to the delight of the 24% who voted for him to be sacked immediately.

 

15% gave Brian their full backing and 6% said he was the man to take Rovers places meaning that despite recent protests and disillusion, the majority of Total Tranmere readers were still backing Little.

 

45% said they would give him until the end of the seasonand then bring someone new in which in the end was how the events unfolded.

 

In our new poll, we ask you whether you think that Jason McAteer is the right for the Managers job at Prenton Park if he was to get the job on a permanent basis.
