Coventry and Wolves make Home Friendly Opponents

Tranmere have today announced that they will play two Championship Clubs, both from the Midlands in home pre-season friendlies at Prenton Park in July. Wolves and Coventry will both make the trip north to face Rovers with further friendlies to be announced at a later date.

Tranmere have announced the first of their pre-season friendlies today which have confirmed that Rovers will face Midlands based Championship Clubs, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Coventry City at Prenton Park in mid-July.
Wolves visit Prenton Park on Tuesday July 18th with a 7.45pm Kick-Off and just eight days later on Wednesday July 26th, Wolves near-neighbours Coventry are in town, also for a 7.45pm Kick-Off.
The games are sure to provide a decent test for Rovers new squad as they prepare for a hopefully better season in League One than they had last time around.
