GONZALEZ KNOWS WHAT TO EXPECT

Mark Gonzalez is looking forward to the challenge of the Premiership. The Chilean international is working hard at building up his strength for the rigours of English football but he’s confident he can cope with it.

He said:

"I know full backs will try and kick me up in the air, but it's part of the game," said Gonzalez.

"When they hit you, it's because you're doing well, so they can kick me a lot.

"I can cope with the aggression. I'm doing a lot of physical work to build up my strength and resistance.

"I've always said I have the qualities to play in The Premiership, but it's one thing to say it and another to do it."
