Modest hero Igor Biscan is more pleased that Liverpool got the three points than he is about his five minutes from time winning header.
The goal was only the third goal the Kop cult-hero has scored in a Red shirt but this one was vital, taking Liverpool within one point of Everton.
Igor told liverpoolfc.tv
"It was very important to score but anyone could have scored it," the match-winner told Liverpoolfc.tv afterwards. "We had a corner on the left, Stevie gave it to Djimi who knocked it over. I just found myself in the right spot and fortunately headed it past the keeper.
"I'm just pleased we won. It's a result that puts the pressure on and that was our plan. Before the derby game our intention was to reduce the gap on Everton as much as we can and fourth spot is now in our sights. Confidence is high and anything is possible.
