Luis Garcia will get better

Luis Garcia will get better says Rafael Benitez. Garcia has scored twelve goals so far in his first season for Liverpool, and is only one behind top scorer Milan Baros.

Benitez said: "Luis is a player with quality and he can score important and good goals. He can sometimes miss too, but now he is more consistent and he is getting better.

"I have not been surprised by how many goals he has got. It was normal for him in Spain to score goals, about 10 each year.

"What he needs to improve is his physical condition. Sometimes when he goes into a tackle he needs to have more confidence. That's one thing, his strength.

"He can also lose the ball because he tries different things, so maybe sometimes he just needs to keep it simple."
