Milan Baros denies criticising boss

Milan Baros has denied criticising boss, Rafael Benitez, in an interview for Czech newspaper. He was supposed to have complained bitterly about being substituted so often and his failure to hold down a first team place.

Baros, however, insists his comments were twisted when being translated in to English.

Baros said:

"First of all I would like to say the English newspaper translated this. I never said anything like that about Benitez because I am not in the position to criticise him.

"But I am focused on Liverpool and I have still got a contract here for one month, so we'll sort it out after the final. I do not want to speak about that now, I want to speak about the final.

"This is going to be one of the biggest games of my life, so everybody wants to play. But as I say it is up to the gaffer and it is up to me, I am working hard in training and we'll see."
