Jose Reina deal looks to be in doubt

The Jose Reina deal has been put in to doubt by the apparent emergence of Arsenal as suitors for the Villareal keeper. The club insist that there are other offers on the table and Reina’s agent has confirmed that another Premiership club are in the hunt.

Reina’s agent said:
"I have had an offer for Reina from another English Premiership team," agent Manuel Garcia Quilon told the Daily Star.
"At the moment I can't say where he will be playing next season. If Liverpool don't resolve the difficulties, the saga could take a surprising turn."

The player though still hopes his future is at Anfield .
He said:

"Everything is in the hands of the clubs and my agent," said Reina.
"I am excited about joining Liverpool but until the contract is signed I can't be sure what will happen."
