Zenden, Gonzales and Hobbs to be Reds.

Boudewijn Zenden will finalise his move to Liverpool on Monday morning, having passed a medical and agreed terms over the week-end. The 28yr old will be eligible for the start of Liverpool’s Champions league campaign on July 13th.

Liverpool have beaten off the competition to sign16yr old Lincoln City centre back, Jack Hobbs. He will spend a week at Anfield on trial and hopefully at the end of the week will put pen to paper and sign a contract with the European Champions.



Mark Gonzales is excited at the prospect of joining Liverpool. It’s thought a season long loan deal with a view to buy will be sewn up this week sometime.

Gonzales said:

"Until everything is signed I don't want to get too excited, but it's a dream move.

"I knew Liverpool were interested in me but after the injury I thought everything had changed.

"To go from being injured at a second division Spanish side to the European champions is like winning the lottery.

"Negotiations are very advanced and I know if I go there on loan I will make the most of it. I'll be going there for good."
