MOMO SISSOKO IS THRILLED TO BE IN FINAL

Momo Sissoko is thrilled to be in the FA Cup final after an eye injury against Benfica forced him to think about whether his career was over.

Says Momo:

“For me it's very special to be going to my first FA Cup final with Liverpool," said Sissoko.

"When I was injured there was a time when I never thought it would be possible. I always hoped, but I wasn't sure.

"But since I've been back there have been no problems and I'm really happy to have played in such a great team and great game as Saturday. It will be a very special day for me, but it will mean more to us if we win."

"It's important to continue to think about the league games, not just the final.

"The game against West Ham in the league tonight is important too, and we must continue to play well in all the games."
