5 Fans Jailed After Attack on Doncaster Fans

Five Sheffield Wednesday fans have been jailed after an attack on Doncaster Rovers fans 18 months ago in the Hog's Head Pub.

Doncaster Crown Court sentenced the men yesterday – 18 other men have been sentenced to community service and 15 have faced bans from football grounds.

They will be banned from watching Sheffield Wednesday for the next 3 years after the mob attacked Rovers fans in the Hog’s Head Pub in Doncaster city centre.

They are also forbidden to meet up in Sheffield City Centre.

Most of the defendants have been in court before for similar charges relating to soccer violence.
