Penney, ‘Looking Forward’

Rovers Manager Dave Penney is looking forward to the second-half of the season as he tries to get Doncaster into the top-half of the table.
Rovers were
hammered 4-0 at home to local rivals
A couple of
victories will see Rovers challenge for a play-off place, but a few defeats
will see them spiral towards relegation.
Penney will be
hoping his team can show some bouncebackability against struggling MK Dons on
Boxing Day and then, other
Penney said:
“We were doing well up to the weekend's game.”
“We had good results at
"They're all big games for us at the moment and we're looking to
get as many points as we can as quickly as possible.”

Penney also believes a play-off position is not outside his teams grasp:
“Hopefully we'll finish in the top half, and then if we're in a good
position come the end of the season, we could possibly look at the play-offs.”
“But I had looked at this season as a bedding-in period for us."
