Youngster Loaned to City

Jon Maloney has joined conference strugglers York City on a month’s loan to tyr and improve the sides on-the-pitch fortunes.

Maloney has joined just in time to play in the Yorkshire derby against Scarborough.

 

Maloney has struggled to break into Doncaster’s first team, making just one first team appearance this season but has impressed at reserve level.

 

Dave Penney must see this as an ideal opportunity for Maloney to get some first team experience and to not be thrown in at the deep end.

 

Maloney is a product of Doncaster’ youth academy and is a hot-prospect for the future at Belle Vue.
