Playoffs Still Possible

Doncaster Rovers Manager Dave Penney has said that the playoff’s is still in the reach of his side.

Doncaster have won the league 2 years running and a third successive promotion for Penney and Rovers would be a dream come true.

 

Doncaster beat Port Vale 2-0 on Saturday leaving them in 11^th place, 5 points off 6^th place.

 

Penney is hoping that they can maintain their good form and rise up the league.

 

Penney said:

 

"Hopefully we can start looking at the top half of the table now.”

 

"It was particularly important to get back to winning ways at home.”

"I'm reasonably happy with the way we are playing - you've got to be happy with where we've come over the last two years.”

"If we can add a few players then we can start looking to the play-offs."
