McGrath to Harriers - or not?

Rovers manager Dave Penney has said midfielder John Mcgrath is set for a move to league two outfit Kidderminster Harriers but Harriers claim a deal is still some way off.

Reports have suggested that Mcgrath, who is now surplus to requirments at Doncaster is set to sign a two contract at Harriers.

Doncaster boss Dave Penney said:

"As far as we are concerned the deal is almost done at our end," said Penney. "I think John is close to being a Kidderminster player and I wish him all the best if he chooses to go down that road - he's not been an ounce of trouble since signing for me."

"He has a left foot like a wand, has plenty of energy and can certainly put a foot in," added Kidderminster boss Stuart Watkiss

However, Kidderminster have denied a deal has been struck but have said Mcgrath is set for talks at the club on thursday.
Mcgrath, who joined from Aston Villa in July 2003 after making 2 premiership starts has slipped down the pecking order since the arrival of Michael Mcindoe and went on to make just 4 league starts
