Johnson Returns to Leeds

Doncaster manager, Dave Penney, has terminated the loan contract of Leeds striker, Simon Johnson.

Even though Johnson scored in Doncaster’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Torquay, Penney has not renewed the loan deal for a third month.

 

Johnson had been relegated to the subs bench after the signing of Andy Campbell from Cardiff.

 

Penney said:

 

"He wants first-team football instead of being on the bench so we decided not to extend the loan."

 

Im sure Doncaster fans would like to thank Simon for all his hard work in his time at Belle Vue and wish him luck in his future career.
