Campbell Move NOT Permanent

Doncaster Manager Dave Penney has said Andy Campbell is only at the club on loan and will NOT be signed permanently.

The striker, who had yet to score in his time in South Yorkshire, was loaned from Cardiff for a month after Simon Johnson returned to Leeds.

 

Dave Penney did admit that he was looking to sign another striker, with only Blundell and Roberts available to him when Campbell returns to Cardiff.

 

Penney said:

 

“We are still looking to sign someone."

 

"But not Andy - he's just come out to get a few games under his belt.”

"We do need to bring a striker in though. We've been looking for a long time and we'll keep on looking."
