Blundell Heading for Chester?

It has been reported that Chester City will make a bid for Doncaster striker Gregg Blundell in the summer.

Doncaster are keen to bring in a top quality striker after failing to secure the transfer of Warren Feeney.

 

Rovers have already brought in Lewis Guy and Neil Roberts this season to adjust to League One life and with a third striker arriving in the summer there may be no room for Gregg Blundell.

 

Chester City Chairman Stephen Vaughan said:

 

"While there isn't time to do anything before Thursday (transfer deadline), I intend to talk to John Ryan (Doncaster Chairman) and see if we can open negotiations."
