Dave Penney has praised wide men Gregg Blundell and James Coppinger whereas Brian Little has slammed Dadi for being dismissed
Dave Penney was ecstatic with his team’s performance and the new tactics he was experimenting with.
Penney briefly said:
"We were able to turn Tranmere with our pace.”
“The fact that we played last Thursday, while Tranmere played on Saturday also worked in our favour.”
“We were that bit sharper than they were."
Tranmere Boss Brain Little had more to say on the matter and criticised Dadi for being sent off but also praised
Little said:
"We were second best today and we have to accept that. The sending off put an end to it for us. It was the major turning point in the game.”
"I'm very disappointed.
"I think
Give them an opportunity to pass and play and they can give you a lot of problems as we found today. I think they will have a major say in this division next season. They are a club on the up.
"We were up against a team who played very well and we were well beaten."
