Reserves Practice Match

Doncaster Rovers Reserves Played Sheffield United Reserves in a practise match today.

Dave Penney was there watching, stating it was just to keep the fitness levels of his players up.

 

Penney said:

 

"It was a good workout that gave some of the young lads the chance to play against top quality players such as Ashley Ward and Tommy Johnson.”

 

The score is irrelevant in practice games with the fitness and practice more useful to the lads"
