Wright-Phillips called up for England U21's

Shaun-Wright Phillips has finally got the international recognition his performances have warranted, with a call up to the England U21 squad for Tuesday's game with Italy.

The game, to be played at Bradford, will give Sweep the platform to showcase the talents that have had City fans drooling all season. Kevin Keegan will claim that recognition for Wright-Phillips has come later than it should have, he expressed disbelief that David Platt had not selected him in the last squad. Here's to Shaun getting a game and showing everyone what he has shown us this season, but please avoid injury.
