Keegan takes a swipe at the FA

Kevin Keegan has taken a swipe at the Football Association over what he sees as double standards. KK, speaking after he had guided City to the 1st Division title, expressed his disgust at the FA's refusal to allow Arthur Cox to work as his assistant when at England.

Keegan was given the excuse that Cox was to old, at 60, to work for the England backroom team. The FA then proceeded to make a mockery of that by allowing KK's replacement, Sven Goran Eriksson, to bring his assistant, Tord Grip, with him to the job. Grip is 64. Keegan, breaking his England silence, also claimed that there was several things he was unhappy with at the FA at the time. Expect more revelations in time and don't be surprised if most revolve around Howard Wilkinson. Your better off away Kev ..... Champion manager.
