Vaughan could sign

Nottingham Forest defender Tony Vaughan could be close to signing a contract with Motherwell after impressign on trial.

Manager Terry Butcher told BBC: " I hope to have it sorted by the start of next week and we will speak to his agents.

"Tony's keen to come to Scotland and we are keen to have him. He's a leader with experience and that's what we are short of at the moment with such a young squad. "
