Motherwell manager Terry Butcher takes his side to Tynecastle this Saturday hoping to keep the winning run going.

Motherwell who are looking to add another scalp in this great run of three wins, confidence is soaring after wins over Hibernian, Dunfermline in the SPL and Clyde in the Scottish Cup. The six points we've picked up in our last two matches has saw us leapfrog Dundee United from bottom spot and another win on Saturday could see us jump Livingston and pull level on points with Partick Thistle and Aberdeen but with Motherwell having a better goal difference Terry Butcher's side could be sitting in 8th place come Saturday night. Butcher told teletext " The game is a big one for us as they'll be out for revenge after we beat them 6-1 at Fir Park last year and will be desperate to maintain their third position in the table.



"However, we should have won last time out at Tynecastle when we went two goals up and ended losing 4-2. "



Despite losing 4 - 0 to Falkirk in the third round of the Scottish Cup, the Edinburgh side are playing attractive football and are sitting third which will bring them European football next term. Hearts will be boosted by Captain Steven Pressley returning from injury. Craig Levein will be hoping his side can improve on their last game against Motherwell losing 6 - 1. Hearts midfielder Phil Stamp could make the match, Craig said " Phil is better and did some training on Monday and I am hoping he will continue to improve this week. "



Pride Of Lanarkshire Prediction - Even though Motherwell are playing well just now, they have an abysmal record at Tynecastle and I can't see that changing although like all SPL matches it'll be tight, Hearts 1 - 0 Motherwell.
