Butchers keeps tortured youngster on

David Cowan's night was made a little better when Terry Butcher offered him a new contract saying that it is something he does not need to worry about as he needs to recover.

David Cowan has been offered a new contract for another year after a traumatic time last night.

He broke his leg after a collision with Paul Lambert.

His Future was in doubt when finances sunk low, but he did not get a real chance to prove himself but thats is something he doesn't need to worry about.

He could be out for months and at very best would make the start of 2003/2004.

Terry Butcher said "He doesn't need to worry about this when he has two operations coming up"
