Grant Brebners penalty was the difference between the sides. Dundee United's win against Livingston puts Motherwell four points adrift at the bottom of the table.

Motherwell became four points behind Dundee United today as they lost 1-0.

Grant Brebners penalty in 65 minutes was put away after Partridge gave the spot kick away.

Motherwell were lucky not to go two nil when Dubordeau just managed to pick the ball up off the line.

McFadden came close with a free kick as did Steven Craig when he came on but it looks gloom for Motherwell now.
