How Long Before The Booing Starts?
By Darren Beattie
August 23 2006
So how long will it be until the booing at the Riverside returns? Last year we had some idiot throwing his season ticket at Steve McClaren after the 4-0 thrashing by Aston Villa, who were quite frankly, rubbish. Well last season anyway...

Banners insulting McClaren and telling him to get out of the club, booing at the end of each half, songs about Steve McClaren such as – "OUT! OUT! OUT! OUT! OUT! OUT! OUT! OUT!" and so on. Oh how glad were the majority of the Boro fans when Steve got the call from the F.A.
Please, I say please don't treat Southgate the same. As Boateng has already stated, he is sick and tired of the manager always taking the blame for the team's awful performances. Look at the amount of talent we have out on that pitch.
Mark Viduka – a Champions League Semi-Finalist, Yakubu – one of the best strikers in the game, Mendieta – a Champions League winner and probably the best midfielder in the world in his prime time, Downing – an English international, Boateng – the new captain with tons of fight in him, Rochemback – just look at his performances at Lisbon, Riggott – a great centre-back and then we have the young boys such as Parnaby, Taylor, Morrison, Cattermole and more.
Come on boys, we have a team capable of great things who just need to show it on the pitch. Don't put the blame onto the manager all the time. The team has to put in the effort as well as the manager.
Perhaps we need to strengthen up the defence; we have to rely on Gareth to bring in at least one new signing before the end of August. True, if we don't get that signing, we could be heading for trouble and maybe then, Gareth could be in for some justified criticism for not being able to bring anybody in. But even without a new siging, we still have a team to finish in the top half of the Premiership.
We need our players, all of them, to have the same fight and desire that Georgey Boateng does. If we go 1-0 down, we need the boys to fight back. If we go 2-0 ahead, we need the boys to have enough fight in them to keep it at 2-0.
Southgate can only stand at the dugout and shout instructions, he can't do magic. We need to give this club time, give the players enough time to realize their potential. If we're sitting in sxiteenth place at Christmas, don't panic. Have patience.
The Boro might not have that great of a season this time but in the next couple of seasons, I think we will start fulfilling our potential. If we're still playing crap and finishing below Newcastle in say three to four years, maybe then is the time to bring in a new boss.
But until then, please give Gareth Southgate time.

FULHAM v BOLTON NO-LOSE BET
For those of you who are unfamiliar with arbitrage betting, what we are going to do here is to back all three different possible outcomes of the match with three different bookies.
We will make a small loss on the match but collect free bets from the bookies which we can cash in to ensure an overall profit.
We're going to lay out a total of £84.00 on the match and we will lose either £5.50 and £2.75 whatever the result but we'll gain a total of £70.00 in free bets which we can cash out at the weekend.
If you already have accounts with one or more of the bookies I have chosen, you won't be able to do this but if that is the case, just let me know and I'll find you an alternative bookie of which there are a few.
Here's how it's done. Just follow these simple instructions.
1. Open accounts with Stan James, Bet365 and Victor Chandler. This shouldn't take you any longer than ten minutes.
2. Make the following deposits into your new accounts. Deposit £25 into your new Stan James account. Deposit £28 into your new Bet365 account and deposit £31 into your new Victor Chandler account.
3. Now make the following bets.
Place £25 on the draw at 9/4 with Stan James.
Place £28 on Bolton to win at 15/8 with Bet365.
Place £31 on Fulham to win at 6/4 with Victor Chandler.
You have temporarily laid out a total of £84. I stress, temporarily... Now sit back, crack a beer open and enjoy the match.
4. Here's what happens at the end of the game.
If it's a draw, you will collect £81.25 from Stan James, including your stake back.
If Bolton win, you will collect £80.50 from Bet365, including your stake back.
If Fulham win, you will collect £78.50 from Victor Chandler, including your stake back.
Now here comes the best bit...
5. We lost between £5.50 and £2.75 on the match but very shortly after the final whistle, Bet365 will credit your account with a free £25 bet, Stan James will do the same and Victor Chandler will credit your account with a free £20 bet. That's a total of £70 in free bets.
If you decide to keep on betting with Bet365, you will also receive further free bets up to the value of £75.
We can cash out the free bets at the weekend when the next round of Premiership matches takes place by selecting a match with suitable odds and backing all three possible outcomes with the same three companies using only the free bets in your accounts. This guarantees a healthy overall profit, whatever the result of the Fulham v Bolton match and whatever the result of the weekend match we select.
If you want me to work out the best way to cash out the free bets on the weekend match, just contact me and I'll do all the maths for you and tell you the best bets to place.
This method was used very successfully during the World Cup and you can read all about how it was done right here.
It's understandable that some people will not believe that it is possible to do this. "What's the catch?" I hear you asking. My answer to that question is that we have been publishing arbitrage bets for three seasons now and literally hundreds of people have profited from following the advice on these pages.
The only stipulation here is that you must click on the links on this page to be eligible for the refund guarantee, not that you'll be needing to claim anyway. Just enjoy the profit and stay posted for many more of these throughout the season.
