Jonathan Woodgate has targeted a return to the England team after agreeing a season-long loan from Real Madrid to Middlesbrough. The 26-year-old has earned five international caps but his career has been hit by a series of injuries.

"This is an important time for me, I have to play football week in, week out and try to get in the England side," he said on Sky Sports News.
"My fitness is good, I played in eight of the pre-season games - I just want to play football now."
Meanwhile, Robert Huth's transfer from Chelsea to Boro is expected to be completed later today when paperwork is completed.
Keith Lamb, Boro's chief executive, added: "The situation with Robert is that the deal is done from all parties - he's signed a contract with Middlesbrough and we have signed an agreement with Chelsea.
"Peter Kenyon (Chelsea's chief executive) is currently engaged on other business and hasn't been able to sign the agreement. I've been assured that in a couple of hours it will be signed and the deal will be done in good time.
"Technically the deal has not been completed but everyone expects it to be done before the deadline."
Lamb insists striker Mark Viduka will not be leaving the club, adding: "Mark is an important part of our plans and he's staying at Middlesbrough."
